Here are some Lost in Beauty tips to help recreate Georgie's make-up looks:
Chantecaille future skin for a dewy finish on the skin, Becca 'opal' skin shimmer on the cheek bones and around the eye area. To achieve dewy looking eyes use Becca crème eye colour in Nickel and then apply Chantecaille eye shadow in 'Celecite' into the crease of the eye for depth and to make the 'smokey eye' look stronger. Line the eyes with a heavy black kohl pencil along the inner lash line on the top and bottom. The eye make-up is extremely bold in this look, so mascara has been kept light. Keep lips simple - so the focus is on the eyes. Opt for the gorgeous Becca lip tint 'Gisella' - it's the perfect nude. Dust over some translucent powder to matte down the lips and keep the colour longer lasting.
Clear matte skin is the emphasis in this shot with a statement bold red lip. Start by perfecting the skin tone with Becca concealer and finish with their fine pressed powder over the top. Take a small amount of foundation over the lips to give a blank canvas for your red lip. For the perfect red lip start by outlining & filling in lips with a strong red liner, not only does this shape the lips perfectly but also acts as an additional base for the lipstick. Then using a lip brush fill in the lip evenly. Blot the lips with a tissue and apply another layer - this helps the colour last longer. Chantecaille do a fantastic red called Poppy! Contour the skin using a matte bronzer like Chantecaille Tahiti. Finally line the eyes with a black eye liner inside the lower rim and add lots of mascara :)
Our beauty team are always busy working their magic on editorial & advertising shoots....Here are some recent images taken from a beauty shoot by photographer Desmond Muckian. Make-Up artist Georgie Hamed created 3 looks that tend to be the most popular choice for party girls.
1. The ever so sultry Smokey Eye portrays attitude and sex appeal. Black kohl eye liner and shadow, blended softly to the eyelid & lower lash line, followed by 2 coats of mascara. Groom the brows, apply a nude lippie and minimal blush for the ultimate rock chick look!
2. For those who dare, a bright coral red lip is the perfect statement look and a great shade on olive skin tones. Keep the rest of your make-up to a minimum with a luminous base, nude eyes and some natural contouring on the cheeks.
Pop into the store and let us help you find the perfect lipstick that works with your skin tone.
3. A classic red lip for those who can carry it off is always a winner, team this with black liquid eyeliner, some individual lashes on the outer corner and a coat of mascara. Keep the skin looking flawless with a matt foundation and a light sweep of blusher to enhance the cheekbones.
Book in for a make-up application and let us transform you into glamourous, gorgeous goddesses!
